Mission:
The mission of the Public Works Department is diverse, comprising of a vast and often unpredictable array of maintenance tasks and projects. Working with the County Commissioners, we provide many services for the County. Personnel complete many tasks in an effort to keep costs down while some are contracted out.
Vision:
Our Vision is to continue to be the premiere provider for customer-driven, trend-setting infrastructure improvements and maintenance services to the community of Eureka County.
The Public Works Department offers a variety of services to the community including the design, construction, and maintenance of local streets and flood control facilities; traffic and safety management; solid waste removal; land surveying; private development permit processing; vector control; and community information programming.
Continue to be the premiere public works provider delivering customer-driven, trend-setting infrastructure improvements and maintenance services to the nicest county in the state of Nevada.
